As a writer, I spend a lot of my personal time writing novels. I try not to concentrate on one particular area, because I don't want my readers to think that I am biased to only a single subject matter.  Rather, I like to keep
my readers on the edge wondering, "What will Sherman Barrett come up with next?"  
   So, that's why I've exercised my writing capabilities to issues concering women, christianity, and Black American issues.
